Caitlin’s love of photography began at age 14 when she learned to develop film by hand in a darkroom. At age 16 she earned a Gold Key for the state of Connecticut from the Scholastic Art Awards for photography.
In college, at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Caitlin earned 5 honorable mentions from the International Photography Awards for her series on an abandoned mental institution. She further broadened her photography skills while studying international reporting and travel writing in Prague through New York University.
Upon graduating from RIT, Caitlin worked in advertising and Fintech in New York City. In 2018, she had the opportunity to leave her job and pursue her passion of photography while traveling through Asia and Europe.
Caitlin now resides in Greenwich, CT with her husband, and senior cat, Lita.
